European Youth

2025 edition
A central element of the project is participation and co-determination. In advance, the young people bring their own ideas and wishes for the project in an online meeting. During the week, elected representatives discuss current concerns and challenges in the General Assembly and find solutions together. This platform promotes learning about democratic processes and enables participants to actively participate in decision-making processes.
In addition, the young people design their own program on two afternoons during the project. Whether breakdancing, creative writing or discussion groups - the participants can learn from each other and inspire others in the so-called open space.
The program also includes a variety of evening activities in the children's village's open youth center and a trip to St. Gallen to get to know the city. On Friday, March 7, the results of the week will be presented in the Pestalozzi Children's Village.
In addition to the network across Europe, another important goal of the project is the development of action plans. With the knowledge gained, the young people initiate projects on site in order to put what they have learned into practice.
