What happens to your donation

Projekte International_Südostasien

Your money flows into projects related to education and empowering children and young people to lead a self-determined life. We invest the donations in our projects in Switzerland and twelve selected countries worldwide. In Switzerland, we operate a school radio and support extracurricular educational programs. Abroad, we work together with local partner organizations so that the projects are anchored locally in the long term.

What your donation will be used for

You decide where and what you want to support: If you donate to projects in Switzerland, no money will go abroad. If you decide on one of our projects abroad, it will only be used there. If you don't state a donation purpose, the money will be used where we currently need the most funds. A small percentage of each donation also ensures that the Pestalozzi Children's Village in Trogen (AR) can be financed.

How much money is used for administration

In order to use the donations optimally, we keep the administrative effort as small as possible. For example, many of our employees work part-time. We show the exact figures in the annual report (available as PDF)

How the donations are collected

A large proportion of private donations still reach us via payment slip. Like many other aid organizations in Switzerland, we work together with the provider RaiseNow.

How we protect your identity

We treat your personal data as strictly confidential and only use it for the purpose of processing donations.

According to the UNESCO World Education Report 2020, 258 million children have no access to schooling. As innocent victims, they suffer particularly from wars and violence. Education is the key to sustainable development and a more peaceful world. Help children grow up to be responsible members of society and choose your donation option.

Would you like to let your commitment to children and education continue to have an effect beyond your existence? Then you can include the Pestalozzi Children's Foundation in your will. You give children future prospects through education and promote peaceful dialogue between cultures.

What we achieved with your donations

(Not) child's play

Jahresbericht_Titelbild_Projekte Thailand

We reached 227,361 children and young people in 2022 with our projects. Such as Komsan in the picture. Ten-year-old Komsan can switch off from everyday school life by playing football. But the rest of his life is anything but child's play. Read more about this in our 2022 annual report.
