World Education Day – Paths to a better future

On January 24, we celebrate World Education Day and recognize its central role in peace and development.

Education is a fundamental child right and crucial to achieving sustainable development goals. It promotes equal opportunities, reduces poverty and improves health. Despite the progress made in many countries, access to quality education remains a challenge. Millions of children around the world do not have access to basic education. With our work, we try to change this every day.

The Pestalozzi Children's Village promotes education and specializes in providing children and young people from different backgrounds with a comprehensive educational experience. These are some of the diverse approaches to the foundation's work:

Intercultural education : The projects promote exchange between children from different countries and cultures. This strengthens understanding and tolerance towards other cultures and enriches learning.

Projects and workshops : Projects and workshops on topics such as environmental protection, social responsibility or creative expression are offered regularly. These activities not only promote learning but also the children's involvement in the community.

Collaborations : The Foundation works closely with schools, organizations and other educational institutions to create a comprehensive educational landscape. These collaborations expand opportunities for children and young people and provide additional resources.

Innovative approaches and the promotion of equal opportunities can create a better future for future generations.
