Be there when young people stand up for a better world! Human rights, peaceful coexistence and intercultural exchange: topics that currently play a major role and characterise the everyday lives of many young people. It is precisely this content that is at the centre of the summer camp «Rebels for Peace», where young people from Switzerland meet peers from different countries. Together, they develop approaches to shape a more peaceful world as «rebels for peace».

The summer camp «Rebels for Peace» will take place in Trogen from 6 to 19 July 2025. The international summer camp will bring together over 100 young people from different corners of Europe. For a fortnight, the «rebels for peace» will live in the Pestalozzi Children's Village to learn together, create and develop perspectives for sustainable coexistence. In workshops on identity, peace, discrimination, sustainability and human rights, the 15 to 17-year-olds develop new ideas and visions for a sustainable society.

A place of togetherness
The summer camp is about more than just discussions. The Children's Village is a place where people can meet, discover new perspectives and at the same time feel at home. There is also plenty of time for fun and shared moments outside of the workshops, whether playing pool, basketball or beach volleyball, exploring the idyllic natural surroundings of the Children's Village or around the campfire - the summer camp creates experiences that transcend borders. During the camp, the participants live in houses with mixed nationalities and can thus experience an open, intercultural exchange.

Would you like to stand up for a more peaceful world and become part of the summer camp «Rebels for Peace»? Are you between 15 and 17 years old and live in Switzerland? Then don't miss out on this unique opportunity and stand up for peace. Join us from 6 to 19 July 2025!
