In collaboration with the Pestalozzi Children's Village Foundation and its children's and youth broadcaster powerup_radio, a radio tour through almost all cantons will be held in the third quarter of 2025 to mark the 50th anniversary of the VMS. A one-day radio program will be produced for each canton, focusing on the music school, the music and the children and young people involved. Giving children and young people a voice and expanding their media skills are important elements. The VMS has set itself the goal of reaching as many children and young people and their guardians as possible with these radio programs on air and live on site. The children and young people involved should be given a lasting experience as a radio journalist and presenter. The aim is to address population groups who would otherwise not come into contact with the music school.

Around 6,000 children and young people take part in the projects of the Pestalozzi Children's Village in Switzerland every year. Topics such as freedom of expression, anti-racism and discrimination are addressed in a child-friendly manner, and prejudices are broken down through direct encounters. Three quarters of the projects are financed by private donors.
